Our Return Policy

If you didn’t get what you wanted, send it back! We accept only unused items with original tags, purchased exclusively from Shongolulu.com. Returns must be received at our San Diego, California location within 30 days of delivery. 

Shongolulu Gift Cards and store credit cannot be returned. Additionally, any items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return.

Please allow up to 7 business days from when we receive your returned Shongolulus for your refund to be processed.

Refunds

If we receive your return within 30 days, you can choose to receive your refund to the same account used to make the purchase or as Shongolulu.com store credit. Once we receive your item(s), please allow 5-7 working days for us to process your refund.

If you paid with a Shongolulu Gift Card or Shongolulu.com store credit, you will receive your refund as Shongolulu.com store credit. Your Shongolulu.com store credit will go back into your Shongolulu.com account. Don't have an account? Use the same email address you used to make your original purchase to Create an Account.

Please note that your refund will appear as an individual credit for each item returned, so you may see multiple credits on your credit card/bank/PayPal statement if you are returning multiple items.

How To Return an Item

Follow the steps below and note that we must receive your item(s) in our San Diego, CA warehouse within 30 days of delivery.

  1. Sign in to your shongolulu.com account.
  2. Find the order you would like to return on the orders page.
  3. Click the "Return" button on the bottom right of the orders page.
  4. Follow the instructions to fill out the form and submit your return request.

Exchanges

Shongolulu offers exchanges for unused items only, within 30 days of delivery. Just send back your unopened or unused Shongolulus with their original tags and we’ll be happy to replace them with something new. 

Frequently Asked Questions About Returns

I would like to return a gift I received for a refund. Is this possible?

Gifts cannot be returned for a cash refund. However, Shongolulu is happy to refund unused gifts with their original tags in the form of Shongolulu.com store credit, and we’re sure you’ll find something right for you. To return a gift you received, you will need to know the order or invoice number as well as the shipping zip code or billing last name. Please contact Customer Service to help you locate this information if you do not have it. 

Can I return products I purchased from a retailer to Shongolulu?

We only accept returns for items purchased on Shongolulu.com. If you want to return an item you purchased from a retailer, please contact that retailer directly for information on their return policy.

Can I return Shongolulu products that I purchased online to an official retailer?

Products purchased on Shongolulu.com must be returned directly to us and not to a retailer.

What if I lose my Shongolulu Gift Card?

Please treat your Shongolulu Gift Card like cash. Unfortunately, we are not responsible if your Gift Card is lost, stolen or eaten by a wild animal. Please see our Terms of Use for more information on Shongolulu Gift Cards, including details and restrictions.

Do Shongolulu.com Gift Cards have any restrictions?

Shongolulu Gift Cards do not expire but there are some restrictions, including:

  • You may not use coupons and other discounts or promotions to purchase Gift Cards;
  • Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards;
  • Gift Cards are Final Sale and not eligible for return; and
  • Gift Cards may only be applicable to purchase certain products or services on our website, or they may exclude the purchase of certain products or services. Please see any applicable restrictions noted on your Gift Card or the applicable product(s) or promotion(s) for further details.

What if I lose my Shongolulu.com store credit?

Impossible! Shongolulu.com store credit is stored in your account, so you won't lose it! If you have Shongolulu.com store credit, it will automatically apply towards your next purchase. Store Credit does not expire and we do not charge any additional fees when you use it.

Can I transfer my Shongolulu.com store credit to someone else?

Sorry, store credit is non-transferable and is for your use only. But you CAN buy someone else a gift using your Shongolulu.com store credit and have it sent directly to them!
